What is the no load current of an induction motor?

  1. No load current of induction motor

1.No load current is minimum current of motor at rated voltage
2.Current withdrawan when induction motor doesn’t have any mechanical load (decoupled from mechanical equipment).
3.no load current is used to determine no load copper losses and iron losses
FRMULA:-
 NL Cu loss = I²R

Iron losses=no load watts  -   no load copper loss
